Property History Overview

The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites was designed and built by seminal hotel architect John C. Portman, who oversaw its two-year construction in the mid-1970s. Portman pioneered the atrium hotel, and ours is one of his first, and grandest, examples.

The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles offers fine examples of contemporary Los Angeles cuisine, served in chic environs.

Head to LA Prime on our 35th floor for delectable steaks and seafood, prepared in fresh, traditional ways amidst elegant décor and city lights. Or experience casual dining at the airy, relaxing Lakeview Bistro for breakfast and lunch.
